Lars

Lars is one of the best language teachers I have ever had. I love talking to him and 90 minutes go by so fast it seems we were only talking for 15 minutes! He is knowledgeable and open minded to learn about other cultures and something that really make a huge difference for me is that since day 1 he pushes me to speak German (even though when we started I knew 3 German words), he also speaks German as much as possible in class but he does not make it difficult to understand. Lars also asks challenging questions about the content we work through the classes so I never get a “fake feeling” of understanding. I would recommend him to anyone looking for an online language immersion, as he provides really fun beginner exercises and also interesting conversations if you are more advanced. Really really enjoy talking with him and can’t wait for our next class! Thank you so much for your patience, Lars (: !

My first lesson with Lars was excellent. We had an interesting and lively discussion in German about various topics, which challenged my German language skills. Lars is a good option for more advanced learners.

At this moment, it's a little bit of a challenge, but I'm learning more. Lars is very proactive and diligent. German can be difficult, but there are certain areas I recently have learned more about word order. As long as I develop my German skills, I will have a chance to make more German friends.

Lars is so flexible. I tend to ask questions that are not directly related to his lessons, and he is able to answer immediately and then gracefully circle back to the original lesson, and even combine the two topics into one. This is a skill not everyone has.
