About Me

My name is Mariangela and I am a native Italian speaker. I was born in Bologna, in the north of Italy but I am currently living in Sicily. I am a foreign language teacher, and graduated from the University for Interpreters and Translators (English and Spanish). I love languages! I have been studying them since I was a little girl. I also love teaching languages, including learning strategies and techniques. I can communicate quite well in English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, but I am also learning Arabic, Japanese and German. I like travelling, horse riding, doing sports, dancing, cooking, reading, etc. I also enjoy a good conversation and being around people. I hope to meet you soon!

I am a cheerful, patient and understanding person. My approach is casual, and therefore easy to follow.

My lessons & teaching style

I believe the best way to learn and teach a language is through conversation, so I will devote most of my lessons to it, especially talking about Italian culture, cuisine, places to visit, traditions and customs. On request, I can also help with text writing, grammar and other aspects of language learning.
