Welcome to my page! I have been a classroom teacher and individual tutor for 16 years. When I'm not teaching I am interested in hiking, swimming, and travel. I have been to 5 countries in Europe, and have visited Costa Rica, Mexico, and Japan. The most rewarding part of traveling is getting to know people who live in different parts of the world! There is a lot to learn from others, and I cherish the things I have discovered through international travel, and teaching students from other countries. I now have a new role as "grandmother", and in my free time I enjoy playing and laughing with my grandchild!!Me as a Teacher
I am so excited to be able to help students in their language journey! I have taught a variety of ages and subjects for 16 years, but my specialty is English language instruction. English language learning can be confusing, but I believe in making learning relaxed and fun. It's amazing to see how quickly students learn when they feel comfortable speaking -with mistakes and all! Every student has strengths, so I like to build upon that, and see a student's confidence soar. I have many resources that make learning easier - videos, websites, documents, etc.My lessons & teaching style
