Kotona sensei is an amazing teacher! Everytime I take a lesson with her, it's so fun and nice. It feels like talking with a friend and she has helped me improve my speaking inch by inch.

Kotona is an incredible teacher who is extremely organised, dedicated and knowledgeable. I started lessons with Kotona as a complete beginner which can be intimidating, but Kotona is so friendly, patient and encouraging that it's made learning not just approachable, but also a whole lot of fun! Kotona takes great care in the structure of her lessons and has a variety of text, audio and video resources to help reinforce what she teaches. She uses a combination of structured learning and open conversation to make what you're learning relevant, and to give you context to apply your knowledge. She has a very strong understanding of how to help students understand the Japanese language and is able to clearly explain very complex topics! Kotona has helped me improve my Japanese so much. She would be an excellent choice to help you too!
