Enjoyed another interactive lesson filled with opportunities to practice my verbal Japanese. It's such an important asset in my study for me to put what I learned in my own time. Despite me being sluggish, sensei stuck with me and helped to better express myself while keeping the conversation afloat. Appreciate this practice opportunity weekly since I started this a couple months ago, it has been a very rewarding journey.

This was a great lesson. Sayuri san does a wonderful job of mixing the harder to understand topics with those that are more straight forward. During the lesson you feel your making strides forward and her enthusiasm makes you want to master the harder subjects with her guidance along the way. ありがとございます！

I enjoyed the amount of practice this lesson allowed in the casual style. It highlighted that more practice is needed on my own to be more instinctive about what conjugations to use. That being said, it was rewarding to see that I had a good grasp of the sentence structures presented after all this time even if the conjugations need some work. Sayuri san was patient and very encouraging of my progress. She also was able to take a pause and really helped clarify something I was getting consistently wrong. Her guidance and direction makes all the difference when trying to master more complicated Japanese. Thank you for another great lesson Sayuri san! ありがとございます！

This lesson we continued to review grammar structures and the casual style. Sayuri san has been very patient with me as I have struggles more than I expected getting used to this new style. I've been taking lessons from Sayuri sensei for roughly a year and have always enjoyed my weekly lessons with sensei. Having a teacher whom I can talk to has been a great motivation for me to study and helped me keep track of my progress. An opportunity to ask questions and talk at ease using a second language (or in my case, the fourth language) without the fear of making mistakes, I think anyone can benefit from that :)
