I was born and raised in Seoul. I have a SEOUL ACCENT.
After graduating from university, I worked at a bank. When I was a banker, I was able to meet many foreigners such as Diplomats, English teachers and Executives at a major foreign company. I love meeting and talking with foreigners.
My major was English Language and Literature and Business Administration. I've also studied International Relations at Graduate school. I like to study in various fields.Me as a Teacher
Whenever I have free time, I prepare meaningful lessons for my students. I've been reading books about Korean as a Foreign Language. I try to put myself in my student's shoes.
So if you are a beginner, now is the best time to take my lessons as I'm better prepared to explain grammar topics in an easy to understand manner!
I really like to teach foreigners. Whenever I meet and teach my students on italki, and see that their Korean language skill has improved through my lessons, I am very happy. For me, teaching is a very rewarding job.

Yoonju is the best teacher I have ever had. She is dedicated and attentive, and she always encourages me to try harder. She is well prepared and her lessons are always stimulating, engaging, and fun! Yoonju is a teacher with a passion and classes with her are always a pleasure, I just love conversing with her about everything. Im so happy that ์ค์ฃผ์จ is my teacher. She is the most favorite teacherโฆ in my life. She is teaching me with a passion. Her knowledge about teaching and knowing of Korean grammar is so deep.
5 times a week we have lessons but I'm never tired any lesson withher. On every lesson we have a lot of fun and interesting talking. Time on the lesson is running very fast and very often is too short to share and say everything. ์ ๋ฅผ ๊ฐ๋ฅด์ณ ์ค์ ๊ฐ์ฌํฉ๋๋ค!!!

I just finished my first TOPIK prep lesson with Yoonju ์ ์๋. I appreciated her cheery attitude and ability to make me feel comfortable right away. We reviewed a few questions from a past TOPIK exam to help me prepare to take the TOPIK II (the Korean proficiency test for intermediate though advanced learners). I enjoyed that our whole lesson was conducted in Korean with only a few translations for vocabulary. I also appreciated Yoonju ์ ์๋'s ability to explain the connotations and nuances of different grammar structures easily. I look forward to taking more classes with her!

Yoonju ์ ์๋ was very prepared for the lesson which I appreciated. She seemed friendly enough, but for having not studied Korean for a good while and finally deciding to get back into it, it was very overwhelming to be asked to converse in only Korean. I think that there is room for improvement in not only giving constructive criticism, but in giving positive, encouraging feedback as well. It helps to know when you are doing well. Overall, I think that you will learn and progress with Yoonju and I appreciated her time.
