Fernando Salgado

Fernando is a great teacher. His lessons are so engaging time flies incredibly fast and I don't even realize the lesson is over! He's made learning Italian very fun to me! I especially like the fact that he also knows my mother tongue (Romanian) and he always offers examples and comparisons between it and Italian, which I find incredibly useful. The materials he gives out make for good practice at home and I find that I'm progressing quite fast. Thank you for your patience!

Fernando is a fantastic teacher. His lessons are structured around a theme, and are designed to get the student to speak as much as possible. His thoughtful questions always make for an engaging discussion, and his attentive corrections, provided in written format, are helping me to improve my speaking ability. Fernando's command of the grammatical rules in the 4 romance languages I study with him is impressive, as is his ability to easily explain the similarities/differences between these languages.

I love that Fernando makes me speak and gently provides material on demand. I am a very beginner, and it is amazing that I am speaking for the whole class.
