Anastasiia was sick, so she made a sacrifice for today's meeting. I appreciated that. She is very competent, and knows languages as a speaker of them as well as as a linguist/researcher. In my case, using examples from other languages is a good idea because I tend to "triangulate" and look for cognates or similar structures in languages I already know. This often helps me understand and remember the Ukrainian equivalents. However, I do not know Russian, so that may be of less help. I support the idea of spending 3-5 lessons on each case, starting with locative as the easiest one. Suggestion for Anastasiia: Please be more specific with me about homework for next time.

Anastasiia is an excellent teacher, today she held our lesson at a cafe in a small German town. It was like a virtual field trip!
